4 Days Uganda gorilla safari takes you to the most famous mountain Gorilla in Bwindi Impenetrable national park for Gorilla trekking. The park has more than 360 mountain gorillas, Plenty of wild life, and hundreds of bird species. So gorilla trekking offers you a great opportunity to penetrate the impenetrable Bwindi forest in search of the most endangered mountain gorillas. Also a visit to the surrounding Batwa community of Bwindi, is yet another experience one wouldn’t like to miss. From showcasing their culture, housing, food ways of life art and crafts.
Entebbe International Airport
Pick up from the hotel by our professional driver who will brief you about the trip. Thereafter, you will set off from your hotel as we embark on our journey to the South-western part of Uganda. The journey takes approximately 8 to 9 hours’ drive but worth it because you will be able to enjoy the beauty of the countryside scenery. You will have a stopover at the equator crossing in Kayabwe for a photo session and brief experience. We shall then proceed to Mbarara for lunch. We shall continue with the journey to Bwindi, arriving late in the evening for an overnight at Gorilla heights lodge. Or you will be transferred to the domestic airport to fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (the flight is approximately 1.5 hours). Met on arrival and transferred to gorilla heights Lodge.
After morning breakfast, we shall have our packed lunch ready then drive to the park headquarters for a briefing before the gorilla trekking activity. You will then be assigned a group to track a particular gorilla family. You will be led into the jungle by an armed ranger who will keep in touch with the monitoring team on ground in order to easily locate the mountain gorillas. The activity takes between 3-7 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Once you locate the gorilla family, you will be given ample time t watch them in their natural habitat playing, feeding, resting and going about their daily life. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.
After breakfast, you will choose from one of the activities below return to the lodge for lunch and relax at the lodge as you wait for dinner and an overnight.

After breakfast, you will drive to Kihihi Airstrip and fly back to Entebbe enjoying the beautiful aerial view of south western Uganda, the hills and thick vegetation as well as the farming practiced by the locals. Afterwards you will be transferred to the international airport to connect onto your international flights home.
